Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ (/ˈræji/ /ʤaʤ/ [medium] [receipt]) is a subtropical Town located in Ftonchyol Parish, Mækyitjĭesǐzbăkhka District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ was founded by Zesmesê Dyèlka Shepí, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ has a yearly average temperature of 19°C (66°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 12°C (53°F). Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ receives an average of 230 cm/y (90 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ covers an area of nearly 6 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 1604 m (5262 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1287, by Zesmesê Dyèlka Shepí. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt packed earth streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The frontieer-style defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Civic Infrastructure

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ's parks.

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ's natural decorations nor waterways.

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is long in Wæm Ræyi Jĭajĭ.
